How To Start:
To use your Veterans Community Care Network, you must first receive a referral
from your VA doctor. The VA doctor reviews your condition and your needs and
makes an assessment of your eligibility for the VA CCN. The common referral is for
chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, and gastrointestinal issues.
Veterans – Your treatment is covered by the Veterans Community Care Network. You
will need a referral or authorization from a VA doctor.
Referrals or authorization must come directly from your VA Provider although
the Optum or TriWest Healthcare Alliance administers the VA CCN program. Be sure
to ask your VA provider for a specific referral to our office (Provider Name Qi Qiu)
when getting authorization for acupuncture treatments under these programs.
VA CCN Eligibility:
VA will work with the Veteran to determine eligibility based on the above conditions
and the Veteran’s specific circumstances. No patients will be denied the ability to
access this care. You can also check if you’re eligible by visiting VA Benefits and Health Care website.
